Rose Bay

Rose Bay is in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, where all of Sydney – beachy, urban, multicultural, sophisticated, suburban and brash – is reflected in one region. Victorian terraces stretch from Woolloomooloo and Darlinghurst through to Randwick. Australia’s earliest high rises are in Potts Point and Elizabeth Bay and most suburbs have access to either harbour, ocean or Botany Bay. Those that don’t are close to the green belt along Queens Park, Moore Park and Centennial Park, any of four different major golf courses in the region, or Heffron Park. Property on high ground usually has harbour, ocean or city views and properties in Point Piper, Bellevue Hill and Vaucluse are amongst the most expensive in Australia ($20m-$70m anyone?). The beaches from Bondi to Maroubra all have unique characteristics and Bondi Junction is a major commercial hub. Transport to the CBD is by train, car, bus, ferry, bike or foot.
